Andy Grant – @andygbootneck

Ex-Marine and fastest amputee 10k runner in the world will be talking about his life in the Marines, his determination and motivation to keep pushing himself to be the best he can be and the story behind the title of his autobiography ‘You’ll Never Walk’ – which he will be signing copies of at the Expo.

Becca Burns – @thisbunnyruns

Becca started running in 2016 as a way to dealing with personal challenges she was facing and soon discovered the positive physical and mental benefits running gave her. From running her first half marathon in June 2017 she has now completed her first marathon, in the heat of London this year,  and is now chasing the sub 4-hour dream – which we hopes she gets at the Rock n Roll Liverpool Marathon May 2019.

Focused Performance – focusedperformance

Geoff is a qualified running coach with UK Athletics whose passion is all about helping other runners achieve their running goals, no matter what they are, while staying injury-free. Geoff will be talking throughout the weekend about a number of topics including how to become an injury free runner, how to power your runs with nutrition and how to run faster by slowing down.

Ian Jones – @ianjonesrunsocr

Ian likes a challenge and last year qualified for the World’s Toughest Mudder in Las Vegas, where he came in the top 100 by running 76 miles (only 60 miles after penalties) in 24 hours. Ian will be talking about what drives him to continue pushing himself with 4am starts and gruelling work-outs that most of us would run a mile from! Ian will be running the Rock n Roll Liverpool Marathon May 2019.

Kelly Ruck – @kellogs_ontherun

After having her fourth child three years, Kelly turned to running as a way to get fit and it wasn’t long before Kelly realised that not only did running give her some ‘me time’ but it would give her some amazing experiences and friendships along the way. She also discovered she had an apt for running long distances and in June this year completed her first ultra, completing the Race to the Tower double marathon non-stop!

Matt will be returning to the stage this year to let us know what he has been up to in the last 12 months. From breaking the 70 minute half marathon to recovering from injury … and everything in-between!

Paul Addicott – @pauladdicott

‘Pick Up the Pace’
Paul is a seasoned runner but his passion is all about pacing. Paul loves nothing better than helping other runners achieve their PB goal and you will now find him pacing many of the major races across the UK, including the London marathon.  Paul will once again be pacing the Rock n Roll Liverpool Marathon May 2019 so make sure you join him on the Demo Stage at the RunFit Expo at 11am on Saturday 25th May 2019 to find out how to pace your race the following day.

Sports Injury Fix

Sports Injury Fix will be giving talks throughout the weekend on how to stay injury free but for those of you with niggles or would like a Sports Massage, then your can book yourself a session in the Sports Injury Treatment Room.
Friday 24th: 3pm A simple approach to strength training for running

11.30am How to find the right advice and treatment for niggles/injuries
3.30pm How to recover post race

Tissy Brignall – @tissyb1991

Tissy started running to lose weight and to help with a bad break-up and has never looked back. Tissy soon discovered running is so much more than the physical side and credits running for changing her life for the better in so many ways. Tissy has completed the Rock n Roll Liverpool Half Marathon for the last 2 years and is working towards a PB of 2.30 – 2.45 for May 2019.
