We caught up with Deborah to find out the person behind this amazing company.
“I’m Deborah and I’m the person behind ZAAZEE. Here are a few facts I can share….
I was born sporty.
I’m left handed.
I love talking to everyone. It really annoys my kids. As you have to add on ten minutes to every journey.
I played tennis and did horse riding when I was younger, I still love horse riding and can’t wait to get back out there.
Both my kids are great at tennis, it’s from my mums gene really. Both are far better than I ever was.
I launched ZZ in 2014 but only really started selling in 2015.
ZAAZEE is a word made up from my daughters name, Zara.
I love languages and speak fluent Spanish.
I lived in Barcelona and Alicante when I studied my degree in Media and Spanish.
In 1996 I was a volunteer at Euro 96’in Leeds and since then have had amazing contacts for Barca FC.
I also volunteered at FINA swim champs in Manchester in 2008 the short length swimming event. Swimming is my favourite event in Olympics. Second is Track and Field.
Always loved sports clothes and growing up was a fan of Nike, I still buy some of their shoes. But never their clothes.
Michael Jordan, Bo Jackson and Andre Agassi were my favourite sports heroes growing up.
I’ve now lived in City Centre, Manchester for 20 years. I lived in Nassau Bahamas when I was young and have always loved to travel.
I always support the underdogs.
I love small business and things that are a bit different.
I have one cat called Nico, he’s going to be 18 in November.
My favourite ZAAZEE top is the ERIN.
My dream person to wear ZZ is Jennifer Anniston and loads of super hero women in the UK already wear the brand. I am so proud of the clothes.
I love fitness and run regularly up to a half-marathon. I think anyone who can do a marathon is amazing.
I love cycling.
I completed Ride London in 2017 and my dream destination is the Great Wall of China.
I have two kids, Noah and Zara. Being a parent is exhausting.
Hope that covers it. If you have any questions, message me.
I’m juggling homeschooling with running a company and I’m currently working on some product pieces”
